Nei’aseniget
Nei’aseniget is a Mi’kmaq word which means “to appear shining as the sun.” I weave these
songs for beacon, to honor the river of Beauty that is this Milky Way.
And the songs sing me, hold me, love me.
On an Earth that is climbing towards Dawn, each of us is a shining being
walking our path home.
What is home? Love, Light, and Safety? Yes. What else? Environmental salvation?
Certainly. Comfort & Peace that is shared collectively as well as experienced
phenomenologically by each individual? That too.
Home, to me, is also Beauty, Art, & Poetry in each of their many forms…
